Back in June McDonald’s announced that they’d be axing Georgie Pie from their stores.
The pies were a staple for many Kiwis back in the 90s. The chain closed down at the end of the decade but was brought back by McDonald’s in 2013.

The last ever box is currently being auctioned off on Trade Me.
“Here is your chance to grab the last ever box of 42 frozen Georgie Pies. 100% of the winning auction bid will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) New Zealand.” the TradeMe listing reads.
The box contains 42 frozen Original Steak Mince ‘N’ Cheese Pies.
