Bars will re open on May 21st- no group bookings larger than 10 people
Hospitality and Retail can reopen under strict rules (Intense cleaning daily and distancing). Hospitality must also follow the “Triple S” rule – Seated (100 people maximum), Separated and Single Server per table.
Hairdressers and Beauty services can also reopen using the PPE method.
If businesses don’t follow the rules they will be shut down.
Markets and Museums will also reopen.
Gatherings will be limited to 100 people for indoor and outdoor settings. (Outside has been downsized from 500).
Managed events such as Weddings and Funerals will be able to go ahead with the limited number of 100 and the “Triple S” rule.
Playgrounds, Public Pools, Gyms and Courtyards will be able to reopen.
All water activities will resume (Fishing, Jet Boating etc).
You will no longer have to stick to your bubble, Friends and Family can come over and socialise “But please make gatherings small”.
Travel will be allowed around the country, but keep in mind these things – Distancing on public transport and in airports.
Some local sports will start being played before others (To be confirmed), Professional sport in a domestic setting will resume with no crowds.
Education facilities will reopen on Monday 18th May (Early Childhood, Schools and Tertiary) under strict rules. Do not send your child to School if they are feeling unwell, If a School has a confirmed or Probable case it must close for 72 hours for contact tracing and another 14 days if need be.
