Sir Wira Gardiner key role for consultation

Sir Wira Gardiner of Ngāti Awa will play a huge role in facilitating iwi-Government consultation which will begin next month on the partial sale of state-owned assets.  The Eastern Bay of Plenty former military man and founding chief executive of Te Puni Kokiri, now chairman of Ngati Awa Group Holdings, will facilitate meetings around the country for iwi with Finance Minister Bill English and State-Owned Enterprises Minister Tony Ryall.
